Community 101: Level up your community manager skills

Inspiring community builder
Dining with Strangers by Adele Bloch

Adele had wanted to build a new community - and it all started with a tweet (encouraged by another solid community called Buildspace)…

This is a great way to validate a community idea - put it out on social media and see how many bites you get.

Note how Adele listens to feedback and responds to every comment:

With a solid application form (that received 500 applications!), Adele was able to host the very first event with great success - the energy was electric.

Conversation cards were custom made for the event

New goal unlocked: how many people *fly* to your community events? Especially an inaugural event?!

It helps that Adele is already tapped into a few other solid communities such as Buildspace and the Boardwalks - both having similar target audiences.

Looking forward to seeing this community grow in future (people are already requesting events in different cities!).
